You have more access to information about your health now than you ever did in the past. While this can be good news, the fact is it’s also incredibly overwhelming.

As a health coach I sift through this turbulent sea of health information and make sense of it. Go ahead and breathe a sigh of relief.

The thing is you need more than mere information. Knowledge is only power when you can use it. While only you can put in the necessary effort, I can give you the tools, tips, and support to act in ways that align with your best intentions.

 

 

Let's get personal

 

What I’ve learned over my years working with clients is that you can't just focus on one area of wellness, such as fitness, and expect that you'll completely transform yourself. (I know you've read stories about life-changing workouts, but let's kindly say that they're either exaggerating or forgetting the other changes they made.)

That said, what you eat will most likely have the biggest impact on your body and your health. But if you really want energetic vitality, you'll need to address what I call The 5 Facets–Nourish, Move, Rest, Play, and Connect. They’re all important. Not only do they affect each other but the synergy created between them can dramatically elevate your wellness to wonderfulness.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to health and wellness. Built into my health coaching and my programs are ways to customize a holistic plan for you that addresses your individual challenges and helps you reach your goals. I also offer a supportive and nonjudgmental environment for you in the process and I love questions (please don’t be afraid to ask questions!).

 

 

How the process works

 

Here are the essentials whether you're working with me personally or using one of my programs

Start where you are  Make a clear and honest assessment of your present circumstances 

Figure out what you really want and why  Determine your true goals and intentions and the feelings that lay behind them

Focus on the big picture   Create a basic plan that sets you on the path towards your goals and intentions

Take one small step in the right direction  Begin to create momentum by creating small successes right away

Finesse the details  Use the knowledge you gained from the other steps--and your intuition--to customize your wellness practices so that they easily and enjoyably fit into your life

 

Are you ready?

 

Will you find time in your schedule to devote to taking care of yourself? This doesn't need to be a lot of time, but you do need to see it as important.

Are you open to trying new concepts and different ways of doing things? Expanding your comfort zone is necessary to making changes.

Are you motivated to eliminate or modify your self-defeating behaviors? They've kept you company for so long, but it's time to let them go.
